Operations/Packaging Technician

Friday to Monday (40h) or Saturday to Sunday (20h)

How you can contribute:
  • Spread, harvest, and transplant cannabis plants.
  • Transform the cannabis flower into a finished product.
  • Carry out daily plant maintenance.
  • Report any irrigation, ventilation, crop health, and equipment problems to the relevant authorities.
  • Package finished products in various formats.
  • Produce a pre-rolled finished product.
  • Product labeling.
  • Participate in production quality control initiatives.
  • Ensure general maintenance of tools, technical equipment, and production facilities.
  • Perform quality control inspections of the trimmed product.
  • Constantly maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility in the production area and facilities, including routine cleaning and sterilization of equipment and infrastructure.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures related to daily work activities to maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Complete all documentation to meet company requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ROSE LifeScience policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other task assigned.

What we hope to find in you:
  • A high school diploma is preferable.
  • Safety certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.) are an asset.
  • Experience in agricultural/greenhouse production or a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience working in an industrial facility is an asset.
What you should know about this position:
  • This position currently reports to the Production Supervisor, currently held by Michel Trepanier.
  • This position represents approximately 50% of the work split between cultivation and processing and packaging functions.
  • The workload (% of tasks) may change based on company needs and production requirements.
  • This position requires sitting, walking, bending, and stretching.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, regularly lift loads, and perform repetitive daily tasks.
  • Background and reference checks.
  • Possibility to modify the work schedule, including weekend shifts, to meet the company's needs (ROSE will give at least two (2) weeks' notice to employees to adjust schedule changes).
  • Possibility of working during holidays.
