Role Summary:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Supervisor, Finished Goods is responsible for all tasks related to the production chain, including Labour, logistics and supply, and Labelling.
How You Can Contribute:
- Daily implementation of cost reductions and development of procedures and reporting systems.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing assistant supervisors, team leaders and staff on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Communicate with operations departments to organize day-to-day operations.
- Works closely and collaboratively with the operations team to achieve operational efficiency.
- Organize work schedules of employees, review vacation requests, and ensure appropriate coverage is provided for assigned work tasks of the operations team.
- Oversee final quality, performance, and on-time delivery.
- Assign production targets to assistant supervisors and team leaders.
- Ensure efficiency of work methods and processes.
- Supervise control of production conditions and work environment.
- Ensure team leaders adherence to company systems, policies, and procedures by respective teams.
- Manage workforce and allocate resources based on production needs.
- Conduct initial and ongoing training for employees on job-specific functions, company policies, and safety measures.
- Provide guidance and evaluation of employees.
- Supervise workers in their daily tasks.
- Review completed work to ensure quality.
- Resolve problematic situations and communicate actions taken through reports.
- Verify inventory and ensure timely ordering of materials and supplies.
- Perform other duties as required.

Things We Hope to Find in You :
- University degree in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar or relevant role (food, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, etc.).
- Safety certifications (CPR, first aid, etc.) are advantageous.
- Experience working in an industrial facility is a plus.
